Drinks Media Wire reports that Guinness, the UK’s number one stout from Diageo, is launching the second installment of its ‘Made of More’ advertising campaign.The new advertisement, ‘Clock’, airs on TV on January 24th and is supported by a significant $8.7 million dollar media spend.

The new advertisement, created by AMV BBDO, delivers 60 second and 30 second creative and cements the new Guiness brand positioning – that it is ‘Made of More’. The advertisement continues to reinforce the brand attitude of never settling for the ordinary, and does so via the metaphor of a clock that chooses this attitude, and as a result is Made of More.

The new film celebrates the attitude shared, they report, by the brand and its drinkers – that you get more out of life by putting more in.  ‘Clock’, directed by award-winning Peter Thwaites from Gorgeous, is set in Bohemia in the 1890s and tells the story of a town’s clock that does not settle for the ordinary.  To view the exclusive preview of ‘Clock’, visit www.guinness.com.
